A very interesting video came out. The video involves a close quarters tank battle between Russian and Ukrainian tanks. The video appears to be something straight out of a movie or a videogame.

Also, the Ukrainian crew is most probably under-trained. My dad was in Vietnam in an M113 with the Australian Army. He said even with having multiple scopes available, driving or commanding armoured vehicles gives very little in the way of optical fields of view due to the nature of armour being designed to protect as a closed system. I am sure the more moderndesigns have less issues with that. Finally, Russian Cold War armour was notorious for poor optics due to the mass production required for the Bloc's use as well as its allies and clients.

When you pointed out the T-60โs periscopes and abysmal view, I surprised the tank commanders just viewing outside the tank like most WWII tank commanders (only problem is that enemy infantry have an easy target/drones to target)

I see many videos of tank vs tank and tank vs BMP most Russian able to destroy Ukrainian, I think they are( Russian) are more experienced as well as skillful.
I still see only old weapons and tanks fighting, where are the new delivered tanks and modern weapons ? they hide it, or sell it ? or just drive into the enemy fire ? West should thing about to stop sending weapons, ukraine guys can't handle it anyway, send old technic or let it be

They basically had a dual with about 20- 30mtr from each other ๐ฎ๐ฏ.
More I see tank destruction in this war more I feel the Russian Tanks lack of reverse speed really hurting their chances of survival in this king of hot n run instances. As both sides use Russian tanks hence the problem is persistant on both sides.

In any engagement tank vs tank 10 out of 10 Russian won the duel… Now it's already august 2023…
It is likely that this was a fuel tank hit because when a tank is fully exploded it takes a few seconds for the ammunition to explode and the spontaneous combustion of the side is another sign of a fuel tank hit
