We’re back with another episode of Total Recoil with our very own host Israel, having a chit chat with our special tank commander Chellby Bragg.

War Thunder is based around combined arms battles on air, land, and sea. According to the game’s creative director Kirill Yudintsev, it is the only game that encompasses all three of these experiences in one gameplay session.
Vehicles range from pre-World War I naval vessels, from the interwar period and the Spanish Civil War for tanks and aircraft to the Iraq war and beyond, with an emphasis on World War II as well as an emphasis on the Vietnam War and the Cold War.
Players can control aircraft, ground vehicles, and warships from the United States, Germany, Russia, Britain, and Japan, as well as nations with smaller militaries or less prominence in conflicts, such as Italy, France, China, Sweden, and Israel.

Did he really mistake the fucking pz4 for a Tiger?!?
Is it just me, or were they talking about the Panzer IV like it was the Tiger?

As a German Army main, my Pz. IV felt like wet tissue paper compared to most US and Russian tanks of the same BR. Even the Churchill had a big enough gun to pen.

Bro Confused panzer 4 with tiger. Panzer 4 armor at max was like 50 mil, which is easily penetrable but tiger had twice that amount

The tank in the first clip is the MBT70, it was a 70s prototype with a 152mm gun/launcher

I gotta be honest, I went into a custom game with a KV-2 and faced off a M1A2 Abrams. Somehow I won that, I'm guessing it's because the KV-2 Round is huge. If anyone knows more of the KV-2, can you reply to my comment

Can you guys react to tank gameplay from Enlisted? It's a WW2 game made by Gaijin who also make War Thunder (although Enlisted has infantry which makes it more like Battlefield, rather than tanks vs tanks like War Thunder), and tanks are locked to first person which makes it a lot more realistic.
Also you can instantly switch between Commander, Gunner, and Driver with each getting accurate viewpoints (cupola vision blocks, gun sight, and driver periscopes respectively). Not sure how well I explained that but if you watch some gameplay or play the game yourselves you'll know what I mean.
I wonder what the pilot would think of the dogfights people have in this game
