Shark Tank the Game from Cardinal Games
You’ve seen them on TV, but now you too can be one of the “sharks” from the ABC show Shark Tank with Shark Tank the Game. Play as Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, Barbara Corcoran, Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner, and Kevin O’Leary, and invest in different companies to be the player with the largest net worth at the end of the game.
The game is played in six rounds with six company pitches. At the start of a round, one player draws a Company card and reads aloud the name of the company and its description. These are real companies that have presented on Shark Tank. The other players, if interested, will wager their own Money cards on that company. There are two rounds of bidding. First, you declare what you’re willing to wager, and then you bid in secret. If you don’t want to bid, play an I’m Out card. The largest money offer wins the Company card.
After winning the Company card, roll the die to determine the amount that the company is worth. Rolling a red, blue, or green means the company is worth either the red, blue, or green value listed on the Company card. If you roll a Block Buster, you get the green value on the card and you get to draw a bonus Money card. You also score an extra Money card if the company you’ve won falls under your Shark’s category of expertise.
Players can also trade and purchase Company cards from each other at the end of one round and before the start of another.
At the end of six rounds, players add up the values of the companies they’ve acquired and half the value of any remaining cash. The player with the largest net worth wins.
